The town is gearing up for the bicentennial and all the festivities including the annual Hometown Honey Pageant. Single mom, Zayda Miller has never been a fan of pageants, particularly this one, but she needs cash and if she could pull it off and win, she could use the sweet prize money to help her achieve her dream. Jessica Patch brings her readers another delightful offering in her Honeyhaven series of novellas. And delightful is the perfect way to describe them. That, and just so witty. I love these books so much and before this one, have read each one three times! And will do again, too. They are so good. Patch is a great wit, anyway, and her deft touch at bringing these folks together in this precious little town is wonderful. Recommended.
