I’d never read a book by this author before and I’m very glad I did, because one of the themes here ministered to a situation I’d been having in my own walk with the Lord. It was very well written and very God-honoring. The plot was a good one and the author knows how to flesh out a character well.
Lessons can be learned here, too. Sometimes things happen to us in life, hurtful, even devasting things. We can trust God through these things, or we can be bitter at Him for not rescuing us. But we need to remember this one thing: God can redeem ALL our hurts and sorrows and redirect our paths. This one is for the keeper shelf.
